Silk Painting with Ruth Lear – “Festive Robin”

£40.00 per person, includes all materials, as well as coffee and cake from Sutton Village Cafe

Come and join local artist Ruth Lear for a cosy crafternoon at Sutton Village Cafe and Florist. It’s guaranteed to brighten up a November day, as well as kickstarting some festive fun!

First you will learn how to plan your own design, with lots of tips and tricks to guide you through it. You will also learn how to use gutta, which will create an outline, so that the paint doesn’t spread out. Once that is dry, you can then enjoy painting your Robin and foliage to create your own unique silk painting!

This can be hung up as a Christmas decoration either in the window or on a wall. It would make a lovely personal Christmas gift for someone special, or you might just love it too much and keep it yourself.

All materials needed will be supplied,  as well as tea/coffee and delicious homemade cake from Sutton Village Cafe.
