Bespoke Funeral Flowers in Macclesfield: Thoughtful Tributes to Honor Loved Ones

At Sutton Village Florist, we understand the importance of flowers in honoring the life of a loved one. Our bespoke funeral flower service in Macclesfield provides thoughtful, custom arrangements designed to express sympathy, love, and respect.

It is a professional privilege to be entrusted with the design and creation of funeral floral arrangements.

We appreciate the important role that floral tributes play in conveying personal messages of love, appreciation and gratitude. This feels especially true at a time of loss when words fail to communicate the sheer depth of our feelings and thoughts.

We work in close collaboration with families and friends to ensure that their wishes and preferences are fully understood and incorporated into our designs. We recognise that this process can sometimes feel overwhelming and hope that the images in the gallery below will provide a helpful visual aid.

The images of our work that have been included are templates aimed at demonstrating the various styles of tributes available to you. Every design can be adapted to accommodate specific flower choices and colour preferences. It is very important to us that every floral tribute is unique, reflecting the individuality of the person it has been designed for.

There is no limit on the time we are willing to set aside in order to discuss options and preferences with you. We recognise that floral tributes are a final gift to your loved one and are fully committed to getting this right for you.

We also offer a Repurposing Service at an additional fixed cost. It is important for families to know that you have the option to keep and repurpose your floral tributes. Keeping the flowers often helps to provide a sense of comfort in the difficult days following your loved ones funeral. Simply arrange for your tributes to be returned to us and we will repurpose the flower ingredients into posies, smaller sprays, hatboxes or vase arrangements.

Funeral FAQs

What flowers should I choose for a funeral?

Traditionally, people choose flowers in a neutral colour palette, often choosing white lilies, roses, chrysanthemums and carnations. However, the choice is really up to you. We like to work closely with families when choosing funeral flowers and designing floral tributes to ensure that the flowers reflect the personality of the person who has died.

Which floral tribute should I choose?

We understand that this can be a difficult time for family and friends. It is very important to us that we offer families a bespoke experience. This ensures that every floral tribute is unique, reflecting the individuality of the person it has been designed for.
Our florists can offer guidance on choosing an appropriate floral tribute that are personal to both you and your loved ones. You may already have an idea in mind, or you may need a little help to decide on a design, colour, shape and size.
Please call us on 01625 447007 or use the contact form to make an appointment to pop in and see us. If this isn’t convenient, please do not hesitate to call us where we can arrange everything over the phone.

When do you deliver the funeral flowers?

When you place your order, we’ll ask you for details of the following:

  • The person that has died.
  • The funeral arrangements.
  • Contact details of the funeral director.

We will work closely with them to ensure the smooth delivery of the flowers, at a time and place designated by the funeral director. We usually aim to deliver the flowers on the morning of the funeral, a minimum of two hours before the service.

When do I need to order funeral flowers by?

We recommend that you place your order a minimum of 72 hours before the funeral service to ensure that we are able to source and design your bespoke tribute. We do understand however that this isn’t always possible; we will always try our best to help, even if it’s last minute. Please don’t hesitate to contact one of our florists and we can discuss what is possible.

Can I include a message with my flowers?

Yes! You can always choose to include a personal message with your floral arrangement. We have a wide selection of message cards to choose from, to suit all styles and colour schemes. If it isn’t possible for you to pop in and choose yourselves, our florists will choose a suitable card to accompany your flowers.

What happens to the flowers after the funeral service?

After the funeral, you may choose to place the flowers at the graveside or in a memorial garden. Some families choose to take some of the flowers home, gift them to friends and family or donate them to a local hospice or care home.

We offer a Repurposing Service where rearrange your funeral flowers into smaller arrangements, e.g. small posies, hatbox arrangements, smaller grave arrangements to place on the graves of other family members. To enquire about this service, please call us or use the contact form below.
